A Little Stardust

Life can be like a revolving door, around and around and then one day you get news that shakes you to the very core. Suddenly your life has taken a dramatic change, and you find yourself going through a myriad of ‘what if’s’ and ‘if only’s.’

I have spoken to so many people in the past month who’s loved ones are dying or have recently passed away. Others with their life-changing illnesses wondering if they might have done something differently. Again, ‘what if’ and ‘if only.’

This thing called life can change in the blink of an eye. Are you living life to it’s fullest extent to the best of your ability? Is fear holding you back? Are you holding yourself back?

This article; ”How Death Teaches Us to Live Fully: 7 Enlightening Lessons” gives a lot of points to consider, and this stood out to me: “Life is brief. Use it to spread a little stardust.”

Regardless of where you are on your family caregiving journey, life can pull at you on so many levels. It is imperative to find moments of joy, do something that makes your heart smile, and be sure to let your loved ones and YOU know, just how important they are in your life.

Every day, every moment is a gift. Be present and be gentle with yourself. B-R-E-A-T-H-E.

Hugs,

Cyndi
