Finding Hope During the Holidays

This was a rough year. Lives were lost and families were ripped apart. Your dreams shattered like a broken mirror on the floor. This is the very time to immerse yourself in hope, set your sights on possibilities and create a pathway for what you want in your life.

Instead of looking at holiday traditions as a chore or ‘just not this year’ I encourage you to dig in deeper and make this season one to remember. A season where love and connections are a priority. Try something a little different.

For your family and community:

  • Pick up the phone and talk to people instead of the usual text.

  • Send greeting cards that you hand address ~ you’ll brighten someone’s day.

  • Reach out to a neighbor that might not be able to go to the store and offer to pick something up for them.

For yourself:

  • Give yourself credit for pulling through in such a difficult time.

  • Forgive those moments that you didn’t do ‘perfectly.’

  • Open your heart to new beginnings.

  • Write in your gratitude journal about the people and events that made a positive impact.

  • Make someone else’s day. The clerk at the grocery store that tirelessly returns to their shift – thank them for being there. When you give your heart receives tenfold.

Don’t give up hope. We are all in this together and we will pull through this together. Wake up every single day with gratitude in your heart ~ you are not alone.

Hugs,

Cyndi
