About Death Salons
Death Salons
Brought to you by Tiffany Baker
Our society doesn’t provide many spaces to talk about death. Aside from a funeral or a wake, many folks feel it is inappropriate to bring up the subject. But death is happening all around us, all the time.
A Death Salon is a gathering space to come together to talk about death. Whether it’s the death of a loved one in the past, anticipating a death in the future, considering your own death, or even a metaphorical death, together we share and explore how death is showing up in our lives. By choosing to consciously discuss an often unconsciously avoided topic, we give ourselves permission to develop a vocabulary about death that can help us to navigate life’s one guarantee.
These free online meetings are facilitated by Tiffany Baker, End-of-Life Doula and Encouragement Specialist. Tiffany has led in-person and online Death Salons regularly since 2019. Questions about these events can be directed to [email protected]
Death Salons are held the third Wednesday of the month at 4:00 PM Pacific time.
